I have spent the last 20 years working with arts and creativity within education - across early years, primary and secondary, in the community and in health settings. Documentation is at the heart of all the work I do, whether in my own practice or educational work with others, providing a means of reflection and evaluation as an integral part of my working process.
Between 2003 – 07 I worked as an advisor for Creative Partnerships Bristol. The role involved consulting and working with children, young people and schools' staff teams to develop approaches for increasing creativity in education, setting up and overseeing creative projects and commissioning artists and creative organisations to work on them.
"Kamina has played a key and constant part in the successful development of Creative Partnerships in Bristol and across the south west - she works with imagination, thought, integrity and commitment - placing children and young people at the centre of her work and all we do. We couldn't have managed without her."

Two specific projects grew out of this period of work for me: The NGDs (New Generation Documentors) and StyaB, the young people’s creative mentoring programme. To find out more follow the links below.
