Coaching
Coach specialising in the creative and cultural sector, supporting those seeking positive change
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change?
Through bespoke, relaxed coaching I can provide the space, support and challenge needed to move you forward with clarity and confidence.
As an ILM Level 7 Coach, and with 40 years of experience in the creative sector as an artist, facilitator, advisor and leader, I bring a deep understanding of the realities, pressures and possibilities of working as a creative. In the past 5 years I have coached over 100 artists, cultural workers and creative organisations to navigate complexity, build self-awareness and move towards meaningful action. I am also a qualified ADHD coach and currently training in somatic coaching, helping clients deepen awareness, resilience and self-trust.
You may find coaching useful if you:
Struggle with self-confidence or imposter syndrome
Want to establish priorities and healthier boundaries
Are considering a career transition or facing a complex challenge
Through my coaching sessions I offer a confidential space for people to reflect, gain new perspectives, and develop practical ways of moving forward that feel both meaningful and achievable.
Alongside one-to-one coaching, I provide Group Coaching and Action Learning Sets (ALS). I support teams, leaders, organisations and boards through change, collaboration and development.
My approach is relational, practical and reflective, drawing on my experience of facilitation and organisational development.
Sessions are available online and in person, including coaching while walking.
Fees
I calculate these on a sliding-scale. Fees paid by funded organisations help subsidise coaching for unfunded artists, freelancers and individuals, making coaching more accessible across the sector. Please get in touch for more details.

Testimonials
“Kamina has recently provided group coaching with a varied group of staff. Her empathetic but structured approach, and skill at holding a space have been incredibly valuable. She ensures all voices can be heard, and that clear actions and next steps are owned by the team. Her thorough understanding of the culture sector and of working in complex organisational structures enables her to bring clarity and insight. She’s also just a pleasure to work with, bringing a warmth, flexibility and groundedness that make the process of addressing challenges feel easier.”
Karen MacDonald, Head of Public Engagement, Bristol Museums & Art Gallery
“Working with Kamina over the years has been transformative—helping me to feel empowered, to recognise my growth, as well as learning to advocate for myself in working environments. It feels like invaluable monthly support that helps me maintain the sustainability of my art practice. Kamina is warm, understanding and fierce—thankfully so.”
Libita Sibungu, multidisciplinary artist
“Having coaching sessions with Kamina has been incredibly helpful to my practice. As a creative freelancer I have found the coaching really helped me identify my short and long term priorities, as well as help me feel less alone with my job frustrations. As a fellow artist, Kamina just gets it. She is both practical and compassionate, and I'm very grateful to have taken the plunge into coaching!”
Rosa ter Kuile / RTiiiKA, illustrator, mural painter street artist
“We worked with Kamina to develop a coaching offer which is available to all managers and any staff who identify as being from a minoritised background on an ongoing basis. It has been transformational around how we develop, retain and support our teams. The feedback we get from those who have received coaching is hugely brilliant and we have seen positive results at a time in the culture sector that is challenging for morale, opportunity and wellbeing.”
Clare Reddington, CEO, Watershed Media Centre
“My experience of working with Kamina as a coach has been really holistic. I feel that the skill set she possesses, in terms of her empathy and understanding as a practising artist, is really important for me. She can read between the lines of what I am saying and articulate my ideas back to me in a very succinct way. I feel listened to but also very empowered.”
Eleanor Duffin, visual artist
“Kamina is a great listener and she was able to gently guide me through what felt like a period of confusion, to find my own new pathways and ways of working. I’m sincerely grateful to her for this process. My confidence and ability to move ideas forwards has become much stronger as a result.”
Kathy Hinde, audio-visual artist
“As artists it is sometimes difficult to look at the bigger picture and consider our work in a holistic way. Being coached by Kamina meant that in just a few sessions, I was able to confidently make key decisions that brought my practice to the next step. By focusing on the things that I enjoy and cherish the most in my work, Kamina supported the sustainability and longevity of my creative career.”
